Winter Releasing

I wanted to share this incredible event that is happening on December 22nd, 2011. It is a chance to release all the things that no longer serve you - fears, doubts, pain, etc. Ceremony is so powerful and I hope this inspires you. Please visit the Pixie Campbell for more information and info on how to make a releasing bundle for this ceremony.

cabin dreams

Someday, I will own a cabin. Nothing grand or complex, small and simple and surrounded by forest and maybe a lake.

bear in my life

I am Ojibwe Annishnabe Bear Clan. I feel I often take the role of protector which has positive and negative influences in my life. The same goes for family members, they are all so loving, but can come off too strong and sometimes scare away outsiders who get too close.

I get really defensive when someone threatens to hurt someone I love, whether that is their intention or not, I assume the position of Mama Bear and immediately try to ward off the threat. I try to be a very open and accepting person but I tend to assume the worst in a person when I think they are hurting someone in my circle. I know I need to work on not being so judgmental of situations I may not know the full story or to be so quick to judge people I do not know.

On the positive side, I am very nurturing and encourage people to be who they are and walk their own path in life. I think of every person in my life as someone I need to keep close and need to protect yet I also want them to explore outside the cave. I like make items and food to give comfort and health to my friends and family. I like to be there when they need someone to listen and offer the best and most objective advise when asked.

I am so blessed to have bear in my life. I invite both the positive and negative aspects as I continue to work to live with this medicine in a balanced way.

thankful

Gitchi Manitou, Great Spirit and Creator of all things,
I thank you for this time with family and friends, may we feast together and remember that every day is a blessing and every person, every animal, every plant, and every moment and memory on this earth is a gift.

I set out on a walk this morning, tobacco pouch in hand, and made it out to the large willow tree on the edge of the park. She is a grand old tree, with her branches abundant and hanging low. I wanted to give thanks to her and to all upon this earth. I am so grateful to be aware of everything around me not only this day, but every day.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving full of love and of course, good food! May we feast and prepare for the winter months of rest ahead!

bear walking

Aho! I am so grateful to be able to create this space for myself and others who cross my path.
This will be my sacred space to share my journey. I have chosen the sacred path, to live in harmony with nature and all beings. Everyday is an adventure, a blessing. I've come here to share my story as it unfolds.
I have already met many wonderful souls on this journey and am looking forward to meeting many more.
